Fortis Canada Games Complex

The Fortis Canada Games Complex will be a state-of-the-art outdoor track and field facility and an indoor multi-purpose building to host the 2025 Canada Games.

Featuring:

The $34 million project will feature the following amenities: a Class II IAAF Certified Track & Field including a 400m 8-lane track, a FIFA Quality Pro Certified Artificial Soccer Turf, and an indoor training facility for the development of amateur level sport in Newfoundland & Labrador. The Complex will allow for year-round training opportunities for provincial track and field athletes, soccer as well as other sports.

The new venue will also support the development of a center of excellence for coaching, refereeing, and training for amateur-level sport in Newfoundland and Labrador, creating a legacy for the Games.

2025 Games Capital Construction: 

This will be a Canada Games legacy facility. Brand new state of the art venue for Athletics and Soccer. This includes an indoor warm up track, a timing building located on the finish line, and an accessible walking path around the entire track.
