Volleyball has been featured on both winter and summer programs since the very first Games!

From 1967-1987, volleyball was on the Winter Games program, before transitioning to the summer edition in 1985. Beach volleyball made its Canada Summer Games debut in 2001. The sport returned in 2009 and has been on every program since, featuring both men’s and women’s categories.
Notable alumni include Rudy Verhoeff, Justin Duff, and Annie Martin.
