Know someone in your community fit for Torchbearer honours?We're looking for over 130 torchbearers to carry the torch in their hometowns as part of 14 stops across Newfoundland and Labrador between June 28 - August 1, 2025. The call for nominations will close on February 28, 2025.
Torch Relay Route
The Orangestore 2025 Canada Games Torch Relay kicks off on June 11, 2025, with a lighting ceremony from the Centennial Flame on Parliament Hill in Ottawa. The Roly McLenahan Torch will then travel from North Sydney, Nova Scotia, to Port Aux Basques, Newfoundland, via ferry by our Journey Supporter Marine Atlantic.
The torch relay will stop in 15 communities across the province before its final destination at the Opening Ceremony on August 9, 2025. We invite you to join the celebrations at a stop near you!
